You don’t notice, it’s easier not too, I do that sometimes, act like I don’t see things. This is not about being soft or self righteous or sneaky or smug. You shouldn’t smother your growth, it trickles down you know, you will lose and so will they, but mostly you. They being your comfort zone, it’s about leaving the womb and it’s safety net, it’s homely circumference. Growing too closely attached means one will grow overshadowing the other, that’s not fair. It’s natural to want and to have and seek our own patch. Where we can blossom and sit under the sun, and get soak by the rain, to move when the wind comes. It’s natural and we all need that.
